We want to share with you the latest storm/incident developments from Pinellas County Government:
  • All Pinellas County Government offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday, October 7-9. All County parks and preserves will also also be closed Monday through Wednesday. This includes the Florida Botanical Gardens and UF/IFAS Extension Services, and means that all Master Gardener Volunteer programs and classes this week are canceled.
  • The opening of a Disaster Recovery Center scheduled for Monday at the Florida Botanical Gardens, Magnolia Room, has been postponed due to the storm threat.
  • Upcoming events held at the Florida Botanical Gardens have been postponed, and we will continue to share updates here and on our Facebook page.
Our thoughts are with our Pinellas County community at this time, we hope everyone stays safe in Hurricane Milton.

About the Florida Botanical Gardens

The Florida Botanical Gardens is a 100-acre Park, managed by the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department, and supported by the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation. The Gardens inspire and educate visitors by showcasing flora, fauna and natural resources in motivational surroundings that promote environmentally friendly techniques.

Closed Christmas Day & the day after Thanksgiving.

Free admission, except during select events. Leashed pets welcome.

Come stroll our many ADA compliant walkways. However, we do not offer wheelchair or scooter rentals.

Visit the Majeed Discovery Garden

The new Majeed Discovery Garden, located on the west side of the Florida Botanical Gardens is the perfect place for kids of all ages and abilities to connect with nature. The Music Forest, Pollinator Landing, Trunk Jump and the Bamboo Bridge are just a few of the areas that will delight young ones. Did you know we also offer educational programming?
